Tonight Max and I took advantage of a free evening and went to Disney. We braved the night without a stroller, which basically meant he rode around the park on my shoulders.
Once we arrived he surprisingly said he wanted to ride Splash Mountain. Of course, he immediately regretted it once we went down the falls and got a little wet. We survived.
Jenn booked us a couple fast passes for Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan. He loved both. Those are a little more his speed. While waiting for our fast pass to become active we made our way over to Gaston’s Tavern in desperate search for some popcorn.
We timed it just right. We got our popcorn and drink right as the fireworks started. Because we were on the backside of the castle the fireworks were happening all around us. It was a neat experience (other than Max farting on my neck all night.)
After about 5 hours in the park, I was exhausted and so was he. We made it home around 11:45 pm. Totally worth it.
The Disney passes, while a lot of money have paid for themselves, both financially and in memories.
