It has been a while since my last post. Life gets in the way sometimes. Striking a balance between family, work, starting a new company, and being in school is a challenge. I’m not complaining. I am thankful for the opportunities that God is bringing my way. These opportunities just come with darker circles under my eyes.

What is amazing in all of this though, is to see how God has been faithful to our family. My natural tendency is to stretch myself too thin. When that happens, it is the most important parts of my life that suffer- my spiritual life and my family.

God is a great equalizer though. He has never let me run off kilter for very long. Sometimes his course-corrections are gentle. Sometimes, not so much…

I have learned after many years of doing life this way, that is is much better to realize your mistakes and make the adjustment than to wait for Him to step in.

Life remains dreadfully busy. Because of circumstances outside my control, it has to be right now. The difference is I am aware when my internal engine is redlining and now how to down-shift. In the meantime, I am embracing the madness and keeping an eye on my tachometer.
