After several rounds of community input, the first draft of Bartow’s master plan is now available. This is a day we have been waiting on for a while and it is finally here.
Today the city commission gathered in a work session with our consultants from GAI to review the work they have pursued for the last year. Of course, in the world of COVID very little has gone according to plan, but even with the challenges, we have faced the end product is something to be excited about.
I will have more to say about the individual pieces of this master plan over the next several weeks and months as we do the difficult work of deciding what to pursue, when to pursue it and how to pay for it. But for now, I would like to share the presentation that the consultants provided as well as the live stream of the meeting from earlier today in case you missed it.
One important thing to keep in mind. The content in these slides only represents options. This is not a commitment to do every item in this draft plan. At this point, it only represents potential options developed by our consultants based on input from the City Commission, staff and community stakeholders, and residents.
